Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Monroe Mann. I am the founder and head coach/publicist at Unstoppable Artists, and the author of the best-selling book, "The Theatrical Juggernaut - The Psyche of the Star."
I believe that success is not so much about how 'good' you are, but about how good of a 'businessman' you are. In the final analysis, all successful people are successful entrepreneurs.
So that's what I do. I help my clients become successful entrepreneurs.
What can I do for you? Well, for starters, in a matter of five weeks, I can help you create the business, marketing, and financial plan that you need to put that talent to good use, as I have for hundreds of others just like you. And I'll motivate you to move like never before. There's a reason my clients call me the 'Tony Robbins of the Artistic World'.
Next, remember that it is not 'talent' that makes the star, but rather, PUBLICITY of that talent that makes the star. For those who want more than just coaching, I provide some pretty awesome publicity services for clients.
Finally, I also offer various courses that you may find beneficial, i.e. Make Your Own Break; Actors Film School; and more.
Now, I'd like to share with you a few key things I believe every entrepreneur should be doing to ensure a successful career:
a) Be your own agent and manager. In other words, learn how to create your own projects, and negotiate your own contracts. Learn how to be your own CEO. Learn how to run your business and career--both professionally, and efficiently.
b) Learn how to attract the right team members. In other words, part of being your own agent and manager is learning how to bring other agents and managers onto your team, in addition to attorneys, accountants, publicists, ad agencies, etc.
c) Realize that fame is power. In other words, the easiest way to get some respect as an entrepreneur is to become famous... in ANYTHING. That's why I help my clients write and publish their own books; help them create their own publicity, marketing, and advertising campaigns; and help them create projects that are going to put them in the limelight. Once they establish a measure of fame, it's amazing how many doors magically start to open.
d) Become a master of your finances. In other words, if you don't know where the money is coming from, where it's going, and how much is arriving and how to increase that amount through investment... then you don't have a business; you have a hobby. Don't run your career like a hobby. That's for amateurs.
e) Create your own projects. In other words, don't wait for someone else to discover you. Discover yourself, and write yourself the roles you've always wanted to play. Then produce these films, tv shows, and plays yourself. Sound like a fantasy? It did for a lot of my clients at first as well... until I helped them do it.
f) Learn business. In other words, your success as a professional performer is ultimately going to have more to do with how savvy an entrepreneur you are than how talented a performer. Look around you: the talent is overflowing from the wings of the stages. If there are so many unsuccessful talented actors, what can that mean? It means something else determines success. That something else is 'business skills'.
